These terms cover your use of getcliprex.com and anything you buy from us. "ClipRex", "we" and "us" mean ClipRex, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. "You" means you, the person browsing or ordering. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to what's below.

We've kept it in plain English on purpose. If any of it is unclear, email getcliprex@outlook.com and we'll explain it rather than point at a clause.

1. Who can order

You need to be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian place the order for you. You need to give accurate contact and shipping details, and use a payment method you're authorised to use.

We ship within the United States only. See our Shipping Policy.

2. Products, colours and availability

We do our best to photograph and describe our products accurately. Screens differ, so the exact shade of a colorway may not match what you see. Small variations between individual units are normal for the way these are made and aren't a defect.

Everything on the site is subject to availability. We may limit quantities, change what we offer, or discontinue a colorway at any time.

3. Safety notice — this is a magnetic product

ClipRex products contain magnets. Please read this before you buy:

Medical devices. Keep magnets away from pacemakers, defibrillators, insulin pumps and other implanted or wearable medical devices. If you or someone near you uses one, check with your doctor before carrying a magnetic product.
Children and pets. Not a toy. Swallowed magnets can cause serious internal injury. Keep out of reach of children and animals, and seek medical attention immediately if a magnet is swallowed.
Electronics and cards. Magnets can damage or erase credit and hotel key cards, hard drives, watches and other magnetically sensitive items. Don't store them together.
Intended use. ClipRex is designed to hold a lighter-sized item on a waistband, strap or bag. It is not a safety device, a load-bearing carabiner, a mount for anything valuable or fragile, or a tool or weapon. Don't use it to secure anything you can't afford to drop.

Sold on its own. No lighter is included.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax and shipping, both of which are shown at checkout before you pay. Prices can change at any time, but a change never affects an order you've already placed.

Multipack discounts are applied automatically to your cart. They're based on the total number of items in the cart — clips and belt hooks count together.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order is accepted when we send the shipping confirmation. Until then we may cancel and refund it in full, for example if an item is out of stock, if a price or description was clearly wrong, or if we suspect fraud. Obvious pricing errors don't bind us; we'll always contact you and refund rather than ship at the wrong price without telling you.

6. Your account and your information

If you create an account, keep your login details to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under it. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.

7. Reviews and anything else you post

If you send us a review, photo or comment, you keep ownership of it and you give us permission to show and share it in connection with our products, with your name or handle as you gave it. Only post things that are yours to post, and that are honest. We may remove content that's unlawful, misleading, or abusive.

8. Our brand and site content

The ClipRex name, logo, product designs, photography, video and site copy belong to us. You're welcome to share our pages and posts. You may not copy our content or branding to sell your own products or to pass something off as ours.

9. Using the site fairly

Please don't attempt to break into, overload, scrape at scale, or interfere with the site or anyone else's use of it, and don't use it for anything unlawful. We can suspend access if you do.

10. Links to other sites

Our site may link to services we don't run — payment providers, carriers, social platforms. We're not responsible for their content or their terms. Read theirs where they apply.

11. Warranty and what we're responsible for

We stand behind our products: anything defective, damaged in transit, or wrong is replaced or refunded under our Refund & Return Policy. Beyond that, the site and products are provided as they are, without other warranties, to the fullest extent the law allows.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example loss of, or damage to, an item a ClipRex was holding.

Some states don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Kent County, Michigan — though we'd much rather settle it over email first, and we always try to.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it. The "last updated" date at the top tells you when this version went live.
